Named after the incredible poet Mary Oliver, this base is a heavenly, super-soft, single-ply yarn with lovely sheen and drape. It is a delicate yarn suitable for shawls and lightweight garments, what I call an “imperfectly perfect” yarn because it has a slightly low twist and a bit of thick-and-thin going on.

Dye personality: Oliver is one of my top favorite yarns to dye and knit with. It gives a depth and luster to each color that's hard to beat! Darker colorways often appear lighter on this blend because of the single-ply construction.

Dye personality: The twist of Angela gives a luminous quality to its colors, and the full wool content provides stable and consistent colors. Everything looks good on Angela.
